Here it is #10, Bow-tie Flower Garden, all finished (and currently getting washed). Original design. I once thought of trying to publish this pattern, but now I'm not so sure. It did help with my blue fabric scrap stash.
White picket fence. I used my free-motion foot for ALL of the quilting of this quilt. The green grass is the only part of the quilt (besides the border) that isn't quilted. I really like how the fence turned out.
Close-up of the flowers and sky quilting. I stitched-in-the-ditch around the bow-tie flowers.
Leaves and stems. I zig zagged around them and added a vein to the leaves.
This quilt was originally going to be gift, but the occasion has since passed and now I'm not sure what to do with it. Maybe it will be a gift or it might end up in the etsy shop. I'll see if I can part with it after it comes out of the dryer and is all cuddly and warm.
Onto March and the UFO is #1. House blocks. Lucky for me all 9 blocks have now been posted. I'm really not in the mood for this quilt though. I was able to but the binding on 2 more quilts last night and I really want to keep the finishes coming. I'll get to the house blocks eventually - like March 29th.
Go here, to see everyone else's February UFO finishes.
