Here is the quilt top I completed last weekend for the silent auction. I'm still unsure about the border fabric and so I haven't started to quilt it yet. I really like how the purple fabric jumps out at you. Overall, I really like it.
Slightly closer look. I made one mistake in piecing but the pattern is very forgivable and so I didn't bother to fix it. Still looks good to me.
Close-up of the corner. I don't know if I have ever used so many patterned fabrics in 1 quilt. They all look good together though, right?
Here is the backing. I'm lucky to have enough of this vintage fabric to do the whole back. Plan is to start quilting this by the weekend. Still deciding exactly how I am going to quilt it but I have some ideas.

I think it looks great! Not too many patterns at all:) the purple is really cool.
