I used the Barnes & Noble gift certificate that my husband gave me for my birthday last month to buy a couple craft books. The crochet book I had out from the library and really liked so I got own copy. The Everyday Lace book was recommended by Jen of Knitting Like Crazy (whose new book comes out in January) and after looking at the patterns I decided to buy it too. Here are some of the patterns I really like from it.
I like the lace on this cardigan. Unsure about the neckline but like that it is unique.
