Dress Update

I have been able to sneak a little more time for my daughter's quilt. Here is an update of what I have done the last few days.

Dresses and dress forms all cut out and ready to be ironed on the white fabric.

Close up of the belts. I cut "Calliope" off of the selvages to use as the belts for the dresses. I don't plan on washing this quilt so hopefully these will be okay.

Dresses attached to the white backgrounds. In the upper left are all the strips cut and ready to be attached as borders to the blocks.

I think they are turning out well. Calliope will love the quilt. Putting it aside for a few days while we work on Calliope's science fair project and I try to finish a wall hanging for my mother for Mother's Day. I was suppose to mail it this Monday if I wanted it to arrive on time but I don't think she will mind if it is late. I'll post pictures once it is finished.
